Dollar Rent A Car, the fastest growing car rental company in the region, announced its raising the bar on flexible offerings in the United Arab Emirates with hourly car rentals. The car rental company will also offer half days and a day off on weekly rentals.
“At Dollar Rent A Car, we are listening to the feedback of our customers in order to be their car rental provider of choice in the highly competitive market in the United Arab Emirates,” said Marwan Al Mulla, General Manager, Dollar Rent A Car, UAE. “Customers do not want to be burdened with the cost of unnecessary car rental time. With hourly and half day rentals, we are not only offering one customer the freedom, but increasing availability for another customer looking to rent.”
The Pay-As-You-Go model at Dollar Rent A Car includes hourly rentals, one and a half day rentals on weekend (normally two day) rentals, and two day weekend rentals from Thursday evening until Sunday morning. Dollar Rent a Car has arranged their logistics and service systems accordingly to maintain the quality and availability of the fleet to accompany their hourly and weekend offer rentals.
Al Mulla continued, “As customers are more vigilant of their payments, the Pay-as –you-go model has been adopted in various industries in the region, from telecom to consultancy services. We believe this model will soon be followed by all car rental companies in the region. Instead of the customer adapting their travel plans according to their commitment with their car rental company, customers are given the freedom to travel as they want, when they want.”
Dollar Rent a Car currently operates in 20 outlets in the United Arab Emirates. Dollar Rent A Car opened its Middle East office in 2004 and operates in the United Arab Emirates, Oman, Jordan, Kuwait, Turkey, Morocco and Saudi Arabia. |
