Unveiling aggressive expansion plans, A.A. Al Moosa (ARENCO) Group, a leading UAE-based corporation, officially launched Dollar Rent a Car brand in the UAE today.
Dollar Rent a Car outlets have already opened in strategic locations in Dubai and Bahrain over the past three months and expansion plans are well underway to expand throughout UAE and Middle East.
Simultaneously, ARENCO announced that they are to be a key sponsor for Dubai Shopping Festival 2005, and expressed the hope that this will provide an additional boost to Dollar's launch effort.
It was also announced that Dollar's fleet of cars in the UAE is expected to more than double to 350 nos. before the end of the year. The rental fleet comprises premium brand vehicles from Japanese, American and European car manufacturers and includes sedans, sport utility vehicles, minivans etc.
As part of its expansion program, Dollar plans to open 20 new franchise outlets throughout the MENA region, including two more in Dubai before the end of the year. These will be located in the Jebel Ali Free Zone and at the Dubai Airport. In addition, Dollar intends to appoint new franchisees in Qatar, Kuwait, Oman, Saudi Arabia, Lebanon and Jordan to meet their growth targets.
