As part of the A.A Al Moosa Enterprises (ARENCO Group), a key sponsor of this year's Dubai Shopping Festival (DSF), Dollar Rent A Car recently announced a host of exciting promotions to commemorate the 10th anniversary of the month-long festival.
'Starting January 12, customers can enjoy a 40 percent discount on daily and weekly tariffs at any of the five Dollar outlets conveniently located throughout the city. The offer gets sweeter for those who rent on a monthly basis as they will also get 10 days free for every 20-day rental, consistent with Dollar's promise of value every time,' said Sumit Chopra, general manager, Dollar Rent A Car.
'The influx of short term visitors expected in Dubai from the GCC and neighbouring countries during DSF bodes well for Dollar Rent a Car, a relatively new entrant in the region's competitive car rental market. Our fleet is brand new and young, our offering is fresh and our DSF promotions are designed to appeal to those looking for quality service and value for money,' added Chopra.
According to figures released by the organizing committee, over 3.2 million visitors are expected to attend this year's festival.
'I am confident that the flexibility and choice we offer will enable us to effectively cater to the various demographics expected in Dubai over the next few weeks,' said Chopra.
Vijay Raghavan, Group Finance Manager, ARENCO, recently represented Dollar Rent A Car at a series of roadshows organised by the DSF committee to promote the Dubai Shopping Festival 2005. As part of a Dubai Shopping Festival delegation, Raghavan travelled to key cities throughout the GCC and met interested parties from the hospitality and travel trade sectors highlighting Dollar's exciting DSF plans.
Dollar Rent A Car has opened its outlets in strategic locations in Dubai since it was first launched in May 2004 during the Arabian Travel Market (ATM) including Sheikh Zayed Road, Bur Dubai, Deira, Karama and the Dubai International Airport Terminal 2. Dollar's fleet of cars in the UAE has already reached 400 and is poised to grow significantly in 2005. |
