Dollar Rent a Car, a subsidiary of Dollar Thrifty Automotive Group, Inc., in the UAE recently announced the appointment of Marwan Mohammad Al Mulla as General Manger, a position designed to enhance the organization's marketing and sales functions.
His career began with both Dollar Rent A Car and Thrifty Car Rental as Operations Manager.
His responsibilities included overseeing day to day operations of the car rental facility for Dollar, as well as Thrifty, and resolving customer issues, coordinating the staff, supervising the garages, maximizing the garage output, as well as problem solving and decision making towards the development and implementation of policies and procedures. Marwan will now focus on the Dollar brand exclusively while working as General Manager.

One of Marwan's key roles will be to help build upon the established Dollar brand in the UAE by overseeing all of the firm's marketing and sales functions, as well as leading and coordinating the strategic planning of the company.
